Scorpio New Moon – November 4, 2021
Meaning of a New Moon
When you begin working with the lunar cycles, there is an ample amount of information available in the world to tell you what the meaning and significance is for each of the moon cycles. When it comes to witchcraft, intention setting, energy clearing, and manifestations, the moon cycles are important to understand the energy you are working with.
Though the traditional energy meaning of the moon cycles are truly important, it is also important to understand the Astrological Energy occurring as well.
New Moon Energy brings in the powerful energies of:
- New Beginnings
- Rejuvenated Energy
- Rebirth or Birthing Anew Projects, Collaborations, Communities, and especially Ourselves
- Setting Manifestation Intentions
- Renewal of Passions, Dreams, and Visions for the Future
With this November’s New Moon, there are other factors, other energy intermingling through the cosmos and the collective for us to take into consideration. Let’s dive into it!
Energy Update for Scorpio New Moon
We are deep in the darkness within ourselves, our hidden secrets, squirreled away truths, and lingering sense of long ago silences kept through many generations. These things are not only pulling, stinging, and inexorably pulling at our subconscious minds, but also our unconscious minds, collective unconscious, and our emotions. The more we ignore these signs, feelings, and rising truths, the more we are seeing emotional upheaval and mental anguish in our daily lives.
For me, I have found myself deeply emotional, irrationally fearful of deceit and betrayal, and seeing much of the way my childhood and past life woundings have left an indelible mark upon my sense of trust and community with others.
In Spirituality there is much emphasis on doing and creating without expectations. Simultaneously, and oft times, contradictorily, we hear “equal exchange of energy.” This can feel overwhelming as we must not expect equality, yes still ask or require it.
What limitations these two dueling energies and lessons floating everywhere create.
In this new phase we are heading into, we are being innundated with an energetic calling to “dive in” to the murky waters within, bringing out the pieces we have held too long to, and take them into the light for understanding and true release.
How is this possible?
What if I don’t want it to be brought out?
What should I do?
Why does everything swing between chaos and joy?
Saturn Battering Uranus
Saturn, the Great Lord of Limitations and Structures, is sitting sitting smack dab in the 12th House, in the sign of Aquarius, and squaring off with the Moon, Sun, and Uranus.
There are few words that I can use to adequately portray his intense, topsy-turvy energetic exchange occurring. We have collectively been feeling it for quite some time now, but something more, something life-altering is wrapped in the dark night sky of this New Moon. The energy simply isn’t the same as our concept of a beautiful renewal from the Now Moon cycle we are all in.
While in a meditation this morning, I suddenly had to open my eyes and regain my bearings. In the midst of a grounding meditation and healing session, I could feel shaking all around that through me. Now, I have experienced meditative shivers and shakes as energy clearing is occurring. I have even had a sense of vibrating shockingly as though my spirit is slammed back into my body unexpectedly and must quickly assimilate.
Though these senses and experiences can be disturbing, they are also well documented, easily explained, and simple to accept (at least for me). Today’s sensation was nothing of the sort.
As I looked around me, then closed my eyes to breathe deeply and recenter myself, I heard one word: EARTHQUAKE.
That is how it felt.
Except . . .
Except I have never been in an earthquake. I live in North Dakota. Rare would be an understatement for a noticeable impact where I live.
So what does it mean?
I have had a major, Spirit-driven, focus on our ancestors, ancient civilizations, and the lessons we can learn, coupled with the help and guidance we can gain from them for much of my year of 2021.Since the kick-off of Scorpio Season, this has been an uphill, downtrodden, karmic clearing journey for me. I could be alone in this, yet from interactions and observing collective shifts, I know I am not alone in it.
Saturn now being in the sign of Aquarius, in the 12th House of Psychic and Subconscious Depths, is in his original exalted Rulership placement of old.
Long ago, he was moved to Capricorn, and replaced with the Freedom-Fighting, Stand-Out-From-The-Crowd, Game Changer planet Uranus. As these two slow-moving planets square-off, energetically, what we are experiencing is akin to two battering rams bearting the titles: Old and New in a duel of CHANGE.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The energy of the bull in Taurus, stubborn, firm on getting rooted in the world, is backing the New Game Changer Uranus. Saturn, firm, proud, structured, and ever-so-rigid, is in the mental space, fighting to keep it all together as it has always been.
Impact On Our Energy
Have you had moments of looking back upon the memories of your childhood, and realizing just how dramatically your life, the world, and society has changed?
Does that bring panic, or a sense of “not right” and feeling a lack of control to your mind and emotions?
Say thank you to Saturn for that.
There is comfort in familiarity. The mental realms we have grown accustomed to, well, simply put, we know how to manage them.
There is adventure in the new, uncharted world beckoning to us now. This means changing our views on ourselves, leaving behind the past, and embracing the new, true, authentically unique soul and person we are.
As the New Moon comes upon us, extending out the thinned veil between the physical and spiritual realms from Samhain and the New Year beginning, the help and support from out crossed over loved ones, ancestors, Spirit Guides, and our Divine Creator is literally one request, and open-heart away from coming in.
This is a rebirth on a personal level involving changing who we portray ourselves to be, to the world, but FIRST to ourselves. We must now face the fact that certain things are no longer working:
- We need to ask and be open to help.
- We need to integrate the truths we’ve learned since November 1, 2020 about ourselves.
- We need to surrender the fears of how things have occurred in the past so they may welcome a new life, one meant for us and us for it.
Change can be scary, it can be daunting, but it is also exhilarating, uplifting, and the gateway to creating our dream lives in the world.
